Yes people, your beloved/hated me went to a Student Leader Summit 08 at Nikko Hotel KL for 2 days. And on 2nd day I get to eat hotel food(buffet breakfast) which I unfortunately missed out for the pass 6 years I think.
At first I was just trying my luck to see whether I can get in, because this programme will only cater for around 500 pax. I happens to be free, but really, after that summit, I really don't mind paying, if only I can have free money to throw around, I guess that would have been a good place to start.
What happen there was...fantastic/life changing(by 10%). I mean, I'm just a lowly mechanic and at least 50-60% of the participants there study overseas, Law students, Engineers, Accountants, Economists, but at least there's someone there to make sure I didn't go around asking lawyers some crap and make a fool out of myself. She happens to be law student anyway...opps.
I was persuaded to put my POV and my thoughts, sort of like "How do I find this leader summit goes?" on this blog. So here goes:
"Before, I would really like to see the country crumble, I mean, f**k it. Now, at least I don't want it to be f**ked up, not that I would care more/less/even want to discuss it"
At least its nice to know more people, and broaden my perspective on general issues. She reminded me that I'm still a Malaysian(notice I say Malaysian, not Cina Malaysia olululululul!!!!), and a student, and a future leader, I should take this seriously. And I was bored anyway. So I followed her advice
Why? Because she's more knowledgable, and she had already attend similar event in UK. I enjoyed my time with her in the event. I mean, I really learn alot, not just of pre-emptive issues to come, but of other aspects and fields that I'm not majoring in. If only I know the other person who's studying Motorsport Design who's in the hall somewhere.
